MCM Elegante Lodge & Suites Ruidoso

The King Studio Suite's private balcony was a favorite. I loved sitting there in the morning with coffee and looking out over the mountains and golf course. This was my first stay at the Elegante under that name; I had stayed once before when it was still the Lodge at Sierra Blanca. Both times, the rooms impressed me with how spacious they were. The beds are very comfortable, though I wish the pillows were better. I'm a pillow snob because of a neck issue. The staff we met were friendly, helpful, and attentive. I work out in the mornings and lift weights, so I appreciated the decent free weights, cable machine, and very nice treadmills in the fitness center. Hotel gyms often have only one or two treadmills that don't work well, plus a stationary bike, which doesn't suit me. Breakfast was complimentary, with several tasty options and a counter for made-to-order omelets. Room rates are a little steep if you're used to regular hotel prices, but the quality, location, and service help justify the cost if you use what's offered.

We spent three days at this hotel and resort and are very likely to return. Breakfast was delicious, and the morning team were consistently friendly and helpful. Dennis made us the best omelette, along with other weekend treats. At the front desk, Breanna greeted us with a smile, got us checked in quickly, and was ready to answer our questions. Everyone was courteous and respectful. Kudos to the whole staff, they go above and beyond.

My husband and I had such a pleasant weekend here. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Ms. Ruthie went out of her way to find Hot cheetos after the gift shop had sold out. My husband had gone there to get some for my spicy craving, but came back empty-handed. Then she surprised us by having two big bags delivered right to our room. Such a sweet gesture and the kind of thoughtful service that's hard to find these days. She's a real asset to the company. We feel this hotel truly cares about guests and will stay loyal. Thank you, Ms. RUTHIE and team. We'll be back!

My family was here for seven nights this trip, and each evening Brianna at the front desk asked what we'd been up to. She was lovely to chat with and helpful as we talked about the day's activities around Ruidoso. The hotel, staff, and breakfast have been amazing every time I've stayed. Hopefully we won't wait too long for the next visit.
