Days Inn Ruston LA

The rooms are disgusting. The AC units don’t pull the humidity out, so the whole room, your stuff, and you stay damp all the time. It’s been that way for years, so they clearly don’t care. Housekeeping was mostly good, but one day someone tried to get into my laptop. I came back to a locked login screen after too many failed attempts. If you have to stay here, leave your valuables behind.

The building looks worn out from the outside, but inside the rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and smelled nice. The beds were comfy too. I was shocked at how good it was, nicer than places I’ve paid twice as much for at higher end hotels. The wood vinyl plank flooring was a big plus, much better than hotel carpet where you never know what germs are hiding. Pet fee was only $10, too. Great job raising the standard for Days Inn.

A clean, quiet, comfortable basic room, just right for a quick stop off the highway. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the value was good. Breakfast wasn’t much, so we ate somewhere else. I got a better price by asking about rates than I found on any of the apps.

The rooms are okay, but you can hear a lot of echoing interstate noise. The beds squeak whenever you move. I saw they were remodeling, though I couldn’t tell whether our room had been updated yet.
