I usually don’t post reviews, but these hosts really deserved one. They made us feel welcome and were helpful throughout. Our room was cozy and clean, and breakfast was delicious. The house is also a great spot, close to a lively downtown you can explore on foot.

The Washburn Room was nicely furnished, and the bed was comfortable. Jim and Russell were accommodating and took care of what we needed during our wedding trip. This was our first bed and breakfast, and it was such a great experience. The house had lovely Fall decorations, which made my wife say it felt like being in a Hallmark movie. Breakfast was delicious, and they had gluten-free options for her. We’d recommend Carrier House to anyone wanting a getaway.

We’ll definitely come back. The owners made a real effort to make us feel welcome, and the houses looked beautiful decorated for Christmas. The beds were so comfortable, and the food was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this B&B.

Jim and Russell were wonderful hosts. We loved the atmosphere and how beautiful the place looked, both inside and out. The rooms have such distinctive, lovely decor, and breakfast was magnificent. My husband and I can’t wait to return.

Jim and Russell made us feel right at home. This BnB is an absolute must for anyone visiting NC, about an hour from Asheville. I’ll definitely recommend it.
