Sabinal Inn

The owners seem to really care, which feels rare these days. The rooms are updated, clean, and cozy, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond. The WiFi was decent too. I'm a light sleeper, but the rooms are well insulated, and with the AC on, I didn't have any trouble with the road or train. This place was a godsend after the Airbnb I booked didn't work out. Thank you, Sabinal Inn!

We were so tired that the traffic didn't bother us, even though the motel is right off a fairly busy highway and close to train tracks. The room was VERY clean, the AC worked great, the staff were friendly, and the rate was very reasonable. We'd definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

The parking lot was clear of debris, cigarette butts, and trash, and I loved the retro yellow microwave in our room. The place was VERY quiet even though it's right by the highway, and the room was cleaner than any we've stayed in before. No rotting or dirty baseboards, no mold in the bathroom, and the bed was very clean, plush, soft, and comfortable, with firm, plush pillows. I fell asleep right away and woke up refreshed. Angie checked us in and was VERY respectful and kind, such a sweetheart. My husband and I ended up needing an unexpected overnight stop because of a tire on our tow dolly. We found this little gem in the middle of nowhere. What a delight while traveling. God bless you, Angie, your business, and your family.

The motel is in a small Texas town, with a gas station nearby and a little taco and burrito place across the street that I recommend. The room was clean and comfortable, and the AC worked well, which was a blessing in the very hot weather. Front desk service was on par with larger chain hotels. No complaints about Sabinal Inn, it's a nice little motel.
