I liked the spacious studio apartment setup and being able to cook. Both rooms had a stained couch, so I covered it with a sheet and that was fine. But in the first room, the digital door lock wasn't working right, and an employee helped me figure it out. After I settled in, another couple opened my door. Thank God I had the security latch on. They apologized, though I felt unsafe and moved to another room with the same setup. At checkout, the employee who helped with the lock blamed me, saying I should pull the handle up to make sure the door is locked from inside. No one had explained that, and neither she nor the company took responsibility. Why assign an occupied room to someone else?

The location is convenient, prices are good, and having a kitchen in the room is a big plus. Shops and restaurants are close by. Some rooms are very good, though some have drainage problems. They are upgrading slowly.

I spent three weeks here for an extended stay and was highly satisfied. It felt like an apartment, and the kitchen made the longer stay much easier. Laundry on site was convenient, and I appreciated the weekly housekeeping. The staff got familiar and friendly, and I never felt bored or uncomfortable. Great setup for relocating or a long business trip.

The room and parking lot are clean, the dog friendly policy is great, and every front desk person I met was sweet, courteous and genuinely concerned when I raised issues. But those issues matter a lot for why I chose this hotel, so I won't stay here on a return trip to Cincinnati. The website felt very misleading, though I'm not saying the place itself is bad. The room was drafty, with doors that wouldn't close all the way and a real/fake fireplace. During the coldest week in Cincinnati, the single big room stayed around 62-66 degrees in the day and 50-58 in the middle of the night, regardless of how much we turned up the heat. The TV remote was broken, but we used a Roku phone app instead. The internet is an open network with no password, which is a problem. My work laptop wouldn't connect to an unsecured connection, so I had to drive to the abandoned mall and use Starbucks internet. The breakfast listing was another big reason I booked. Both the hotel website and third party booking site said free hot breakfast, but there were empty hot pans with no eggs or meat. They do have a waffle maker, but I can't eat waffles, so breakfast was no use to me. This is only offered Saturdays and Sundays, which isn't mentioned online. I'm here six days, so the "free breakfast" applies to two days and consists of a bag of muffins. It's such a poor option I may dispute the charges. Breakfast is supposed to be included in the room rate. For a family of three, it's cheaper to book somewhere else nearby that offers breakfast than spend 20-40 bucks every morning on food. Put that money toward the room and stay at the Hilton.

A colleague sent me the address and asked if we should go out on break, so I booked a room for one night. It was calm and clean, and the room had what I needed. We relaxed and talked for hours. I felt comfortable and had a very good stay.
