The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a quiet stay with good coffee. Getting in and out was awkward because of the layout, though that isn't really the motel's fault. The place looked run down despite the St. Augustin name, and I wouldn't return. The room seemed to have been remodeled once, but the work was poor. There was plenty of hair near the bed and small bits of the floor had been missed, so we cleaned before unpacking. It didn't look like anything had been moved to clean underneath. The TV was confusing to operate and kept shutting off around 11 a.m. Our first towels were soft, later ones were rough. The ground-floor ice machines didn't work, and the laundry room had no lights, so I didn't feel safe using it. I probably won't come back to this Red Roof Inn.

We slept really well, even with our dog, though you could hear the highway through the door. The room was very clean and nicely cared for, and the building was pleasant. We were on the second floor. For the price, I liked it a lot.

The rates were very affordable, and having one pet stay free was a big plus. It's hard to find a place this clean and welcoming that also accepts pets. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with dependable hot water. The room attendants did a great job, and the front desk staff were courteous, professional, and genuinely kind. Fantastic stay at Red Roof PLUS+!

I couldn't get comfortable in that room at all. There was a spider in the upper right corner of the mirror, and I'm scared of spiders, big or small. I slept in my work clothes because I didn't want to put the clothes I'd need the next morning on the bed. It didn't feel safe, either. The walls were chipped, the dressers looked dated, and the room needs an immediate update. As soon as I walked in, I got hit with a disgusting cigarette smell, even though I'd booked a non-smoking room. I'm just disgusted.

Tanya at the desk was super nice, and we had a nice stay. The pool looked perfect, but it was closed and nobody was allowed in. Two ice machines were broken, so we had to go upstairs. That won't keep us from visiting again.
