The location was a big plus, and the water pressure was good, though the water was hard. But the place felt weird and gave off creepy vibes at night, even though it seems like they're trying to improve it. When she handed us a key, all the blankets were on the floor and a guy was already sleeping in the room. The door wouldn't lock properly, so we had to wedge a chair under it. The AC wasn't working very well, and the dusty-smelling blankets didn't help. There was no hair dryer either. It was late, we'd blown a tire while driving a Diesel and couldn't get it fixed until the next day. We were tired and needed showers, so this is what we ended up with.

I woke up last night when the phone rang and spotted a bug crawling on the bed. I killed it and checked it with Google Lens. It was definitely a large bed bug. I haven't managed to get back to sleep since. Yuck, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

After a week here, the best part was that we finally left. There were ants and roaches in the room, no toilet paper in the bathroom, and stained towels. The comforter was very thin and had cigarette burns, and the room smelled. The owners were extremely rude. When we asked to pick up some clothes, they stood at the door to watch and make sure we cleaned properly. They went into the room whenever we left to snoop, and kept pestering us to keep it spotless. They even brought up the health department over clothes and toddlers' toys on the floor. They called asking for payment even though checkout was still a few days away. Their card machine was down the whole time, with no apology, and they acted like we were bothering them. Stay far away.

The receptionist was friendly, which was the one good thing about the place. Our first room had a roach on the floor, so we had to change rooms. We checked the bed for bed bugs and it was clear, but found hair and socks between the sheets. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, and a line of dead ants on the wall. Staying here for one night wasn't a good experience.
