The photos had me hoping I’d love this place, and it did look nice and clean, but I’ll pass next time. The king room was so small the bed took up most of it. There was barely anything to watch on TV, and the guide didn’t work, so I kept scrolling through the same channels again and again. The fridge didn’t work even with the temperature turned all the way up, and there wasn’t a microwave. The eggs at breakfast were too watery for me to eat. After just one night, I also started itching and noticed a few bites. On top of that, my card was charged about $26 more than the original reservation showed.

My first time booking an “Avid” hotel, and I’ll be back. The price was nearly $20 lower than the nearby Hampton Inn, which made the value even better. Everything else exceeded what I expected too: friendly, welcoming staff, an immaculate and comfortable room, and a great breakfast. The coffee in particular was a treat. Definitely worth five stars, and I recommend it.

We stayed here twice on our recent trip and would happily recommend it. The staff were friendly, and when we needed to change the return reservation, one quick call took care of it without any fuss. It was clean, easy to get on and off the highway, pet friendly, and very reasonably priced. The fee for our two pups was just $30. Breakfast had tasty hot eggs, sausage, and potatoes, plus coffee, oatmeal, fruit, bagels, yogurt, and more.

The bed is new, though the bedbug cover is a fitted sheet, and the mini fridge really is mini. I always check the bed at hotels, and this one looks brand new. The AC gets nice and cold, while the shower gets hot and has strong pressure, just how I like it. There are reusable soaps on the wall, though I don’t use those. Breakfast is fine, pretty standard and nothing fancy. I do like that tea and coffee are available all day, along with flavored cream for the coffee.
