The windows are why I’m giving this hotel a low rating, even though it has a lot going for it and I generally love the Lark brand. My windows seemed to be from the original building, which wouldn’t bother me by itself, but they were covered in mold. There was condensation inside the window this morning, presumably where the mold comes from. I’m not paying a corporation hundreds of dollars for a room with mold. That’s unacceptable. I like smaller hotels where you can open the windows, but these were locked shut. There may have been some air from the vents, though I barely noticed it. If you’re sensitive to mold or want fresh air, I can’t recommend this hotel.

We had everything we needed, and when an issue came up, it was handled quickly. The place was beautiful and nicely located. I’d definitely stay here again.

A really nice hotel in a great spot in Salem. Amazing place.

The conversion was done really well, and the decor was superb. The rooms are spacious, though the view is just traffic passing by. The building is above business shops. Parking is in an open area a block away, with no cameras, and our room was a little dusty. The unit AC is loud. Still, we had a great stay.
