Daniels House Inn

We stayed in the Great Room during the busy October season, and its age and charm, along with the dining room below, made the visit feel magical. The house was stunning, and Adele and Patrick were wonderful. It’s close to The House of Seven Gables and the Wharf. My husband and I felt lucky to spend a few nights here. One of my favorite places in Salem, 10/10, and I can’t wait to come back.

The staff were great about communicating whenever we needed them, and the Wi-Fi setup was amazing, the best I’ve ever had. The house has a clean, homey feel, like stepping back in time. I’d love to return and try one of the other themed rooms. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The communication was out of this world, and you can tell the owners take real pride in the place, from the extensive breakfast to the care put into the amenities. My teenage daughter and I stayed in the India room last month, which came with off-street parking. The home was pristine, the beds were really comfortable, and it’s a charming, unique experience. The location is beautiful and everything is walkable. My daughter loved it and would go back, though she did find the shower a bit cramped. She said now she knows how Will Ferrell in Elf felt. It felt authentic, so neither of us minded. You may end up chatting with other guests, as you often do at a bed and breakfast, and everyone we met was lovely.

We could walk everywhere we wanted to visit, and there was delicious food nearby. The Marion room’s six-foot ceilings struck us as fun and charming, and my teenager liked noticing the historic touches, from the light switches to the art. The rooms at the Daniels House Inn felt true to their time. Our hosts were welcoming and easy to work with. When we come back, we won’t stay anywhere else.
