Three Pines View

We had a perfect trip and would happily stay again. The location made it easy to get to the lake and nearby sights, and our hosts were friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service. The breakfasts were amazing, too. Thanks from your guests from Hilton Head Island! We highly recommend staying here.

We loved how close this B&B was to hiking and beautiful Lake Jocassee. After a relaxing stay in a very clean place, we’re already planning to return. Sharon and Andrew were warm and flexible hosts. If you’d rather stay in for the evening, give one of their dinners a try.

This was my third stay, and I hope to see Sharon, Andrew, Mocha, Charlie, and the cats again soon. The breakfast is awesome, and everyone is great. We stayed in The Lofty View, with its lovely spiral staircase and a great mountain view. If you’re ever in the area, check this place out.

We had a different breakfast each morning of our three-night stay, and every one was delicious. Sharon’s presentation and the atmosphere made it feel special, too. She and Andrew were kind, knowledgeable hosts who made us feel at home right away. Ask them for ideas on what to do or where to go. Mocha and Charlie, their cute dogs, were often nearby, ready for pets and making sure things were just right. We’d never tried a BnB before, and the lodge turned out to be a great base for a lake and hiking trip. The mountain views around it are beautiful. A couple of popular lakes, where you can kayak, canoe, or rent a boat, and some good hiking spots are less than 30 minutes away. It’s also a quick drive to NC and hikes and waterfalls like Rainbow and Turtleback Falls. There are a few good overlooks, too. We had only a car, so we didn’t risk the more adventurous routes, but still got nice photos at overlooks right off the road. It is a bit of a drive to nearby towns. There are two gas stations fairly close, though, with a good food selection and plenty of snacks and drinks to stock up on. Our Captains Quarters room was beautiful, and I really enjoyed its cute balcony. The bed was comfortable, the mini fridge came in handy, and there was a little reading nook in the side room. We had an amazing time and plan to come back, probably with friends. Thanks for having us, Sharon & Andrew!
