The only thing keeping this from a five was the hot tub being out of service. The pool would've been fine, but it was really noisy in there. Otherwise, it was a great stay, with clean, updated rooms and staff who were very nice and informative. I'd definitely recommend it.

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS and EATWELLTRAVELOFTEN. 1.18.26, room 315. It's an older place, but it works, and finding a decent budget hotel around Richmond is tough. The bed was comfortable, the linens were good, there was a good channel selection, and the staff were friendly. The showerhead had almost no pressure, my only real complaint. Recommended.
10/10
We stayed four nights, and it was wonderful. The place is pet friendly and welcoming to kids and families. Breakfast was enough that we didn't need to go out to eat, and the pool was great. The staff were friendly, and there's a grocery store right next door, with Salem shopping nearby. I saved money on the room using the Hopper app.
4/10
The location is great, and the bed was comfortable in a quiet room. Still, I can't say where the overall rating of 3.anything comes from. Within ten minutes of arriving, I killed a cricket in the room, then found some sort of beetle when we got back from dinner. We skipped both the services and the free breakfast. The cabinets in that area were smeared with something and looked dirty at best, so we went to Dennys and paid for breakfast. Hope you have a better experience.
10/10
The complimentary breakfast was great, simple but just right, and the staff were very friendly. I also appreciated their hands-off approach. The location, room quality, and atmosphere all hit the mark, and everything exceeded my expectations, even compared with other Comfort Inn locations in the area. I'd definitely stay again.
