The check-in staff were really nice and helpful, and the pool and hot tub are great for families. I just wish the area had been cleaner. The property feels a little outdated and could use more cleaning in general. The rugs were dirty when we arrived, and the hallway floors needed a good vacuum. Our room had a layer of dust over everything, and I started wiping things down right away with a warm, soapy cloth. The floor was extremely dirty and unswept, so I cleaned it too before I felt comfortable taking my shoes off.

I spent about six weeks at this hotel and can't think of a single complaint. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well furnished, and the breakfast was always great. The staff are top notch and really show what hospitality means. There's a Walmart, liquor store, and dispensary nearby. Anyone I know who comes to Salida will stay here.

The standard room was a good size, and it was handy having a microwave and a working fridge. There was plenty of parking, and both the pool and hot tub worked. Breakfast was so-so, and our phone didn't work.

There's lots of places to eat within walking distance, and the staff were nice at check-in, breakfast, and checkout. The pool was nice too. The hot tub could've been a bit hotter, and its jets seemed to work only somewhat. Overall, not a bad place.

The front desk guy went above and beyond yesterday morning, helping us get our truck started so we could make it to the mountain at a decent time. The staff were amazing, and breakfast was great every day. We had a lovely stay in Salida.
