Getting into the place was a little hard, and the area around it is a bit questionable, but inside the gate it looks much nicer than the rest of the street. We had our own convenient parking space. The room smelled lovely and felt fresh as soon as we entered. It was very clean, with a spacious bathroom and some of the best snack choices, though they may be a little pricey. The pool looked clean, and I can't wait to try it.

The only real drawback was the train noise at night, which may bother light sleepers. Otherwise, Hotel Bayit was a great stay. The place was pristine, comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and clearly well cared for. Getting into the property and room with access codes was convenient. I'd still recommend it for a pleasant visit.

Self check-in led to immaculate, well-appointed rooms, and Vanessa and the staff were friendly and accommodating when I needed to add a night. I felt like I could step back in time to when motor lodges were the bees knees. It was a breath of fresh air during a hectic time, with a luxurious place to rest and Nespresso coffee in lush green gardens shaded by beautiful old-growth olive trees. I'm already planning more stays this year.

The room was super cute, and I would have liked the stay if the internet, gym, and staff support had been there. I work remotely and need internet, but it didn't work when I arrived the evening before, either on the TV or iPad. At 6:30 the next morning I called hotel staff because I still couldn't connect. They said they'd investigate and call back, but never did. A woman from the cafe was really nice and confirmed neither my laptop nor phone could connect. She couldn't connect her own phone either. She suggested the cafe and promised internet there, but after I ordered a latte and breakfast, that connection didn't work either. I needed some way to work and don't have a hotspot, so hotel internet mattered. I had to work in my car at Starbucks around the corner for four hours. I returned at 11:00 and called Expedia for help. They said the internet wasn't working and told me to leave. This wasn't my fault, and they didn't seem to care. I tried to check out through the hotel's website and thought it had gone through, but apparently it hadn't. I spent at least two hours calling and chatting with Expedia afterward to say I'd left and expected a refund. They said they'd comp one night. I thought they meant the first night, but it was for the second night, which I never stayed and had already checked out of. That never happened anyway, and I was charged for both nights. The code I was given also didn't work for the gym. The hotel says it has internet, and listings say it offers free WiFi, but there wasn't even paid WiFi. There was no hotel staff on site, and getting through the gate was strange. A disaster and complete disappointment. I'll never stay here again.

A lovely little place, with great rooms, a beautiful garden, a nice pool, and a great little gym. The cafe on site does yummy food, too. It's a bit noisy by the road and railway line, though it does seem to quiet down at night. I'd totally recommend it.
