The highway is a little too close and noisy during the day, but I had no other complaints. The place was clean and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and a walk-in shower. Stores, shops, and restaurants are all nearby, and the rates are competitive. The south arm of the Arkansas river is right outside the balcony, with mountain views.

Everything is brand new, and the local staff are wonderful. They did a great job, and this is a great addition to Salida. The location is great too. I’m looking forward to staying here many more times.
