Mountain Goat Lodge

The rooms are outstanding, and the bedding is among the best we’ve ever slept on. We loved the hiking trail around the property and the large enclosed space where our pup could play. The grounds are lovely, with goats, chickens, turkeys, and a cow. This was our second stay at Mount Goat Lodge, and Gina and D’Arcy are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was excellent, with food sourced from the farm, and D’Arcy makes a killer mocha espresso. I can’t recommend this BnB highly enough!

It really feels like you’re visiting a family member’s farm, and the owners clearly care about what they do. The scenery, service, and whole experience were great. Two new litters of baby goats were born at the farm recently, so be sure to stop by soon!

Our host was very helpful, and the EV charger worked well. We had a relaxing stay with lots to do, not far from the front range or mountains. The location was good, the views were beautiful, and breakfast was lovely, with fresh eggs, cheese, and yogurt from the property.

Breakfast made with fresh farm eggs, milk, and butter was delicious, and the sourdough waffle was the best I’ve had. The hosts were gracious, friendly, and very helpful. The lodge is beautiful, with stunning views of the snow-capped Sangre de Cristo peaks. Both the common areas and our room were spacious, pleasant, and super clean. We loved all the animals, the cat, dogs, llamas, turkeys, hens and roosters, and of course the goats. This is a destination in itself, not just somewhere to stay overnight.
