The Sunset room was cozy, and even though I think it might be the smallest one, it had everything we needed. The gas stove heater made it feel extra snug. I liked being able to arrive and head straight to our room using the passcode they texted us. There’s also a game shop downstairs to look around in. Outside the rooms, the hosts keep coffee and tea available, plus spare things like soap, lotion, and towels.

We came for a pickleball tournament and slept really well. The room was quiet and clean, with a cozy bed and a hot shower. The staff were amazing, and the homemade muffins in the morning were fabulous. If we're back in Salida, this will be our choice again. Highly recommend!

Nadine at reception was so welcoming and helpful. When she learned that another guest and I were in town for the gravel race, she baked chocolate oatmeal cookies instead of muffins so we could take some along in the morning. Such a thoughtful touch. It has the feel of a grown-up hostel, with private, comfortable rooms, shared space, and a full kitchen. The location also makes it easy to walk or bike into the town center. I'll stay here next time I'm in Salida.

The bunk beds have plenty of room, and the bathroom is fairly spacious. The room was clean too. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day, and Audrey makes muffins for breakfast. If you're hiking the CT, there are plenty of trail angels around who can help with a ride back to the trail. Downtown is an easy walk.

This is mostly a hostel, though it also has private rooms that are clean and comfortable. Our room had wall hooks instead of a closet, which worked well enough despite being a small inconvenience. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was the continental spread they said it would be. We had a great stay.
