We were here for a few days of skiing at Monarch this winter and had a wonderful time. The location was great and the rooms were comfortable. The thermostat started acting up, and the owner was kind and flexible with us about it. I'd definitely come back.

A great stop to split up the drive from Fort Collins to Pagosa Springs. The remodel and care make the property feel clean and safe, and the decor and overall vibe are so cute and fun. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone passing through or spending time in Salida.

We slept incredibly well and left feeling refreshed for the next part of our trip. Our room was clean and very comfortable, with a mini fridge and extra bathroom space where we could hang our wet swimsuits from the hot tub. The owners have given this charming, newly updated motor lodge a cozy feel with fun, distinctive decor. We stayed one night while passing through Salida, and it was a delightful surprise. A stylish, affordable, comfortable place to stay.

The fire in the lobby was great, and the coffee was excellent. There was also a nice grab-and-go breakfast, a good hot tub, very comfortable beds, and cute decor. Best of all, it was clean. Kate's upbeat energy was contagious from the start, and every staff member we spoke with was helpful.

The Velma airstream was great, and the employees were pleasant. It had a really good vibe, the shared bathrooms were clean, and the morning coffee was delicious. The hot tub let us down, though. The headrests were torn off, leaving plastic pieces, and the jets didn't work for us or the people before us. We'll still be back.
