Having a small kitchen in the room is a real help when I travel often, since I can make my own meals. Free laundry is another big plus. The room was roomy and comfortable, though the hotel itself feels dated, the gym is tiny, and the TV is basic cable rather than a smart TV. Breakfast isn’t included, which is inconvenient if you don’t want to cook, and the service left a lot to be desired. I stayed six days and never got housekeeping. Since the pandemic, hotels seem to use that as an excuse to skip it, though some do clean every other day. Salina seems mostly geared toward people traveling for work, since there’s literally nothing to do nearby for leisure. This place makes sense for a longer work stay when you want to prepare meals, but don’t expect much service or modern features.

Having a room near an outside door made it easy to take our two little dogs out. We were driving back from Denver to Oklahoma, and the mini kitchen worked well since we usually eat in when we travel with them. The staff were friendly, and several restaurants nearby offer takeout. It’s nothing fancy, but a good place to stay with dogs.

The hot chocolate bar comes with all the toppings and fixings. Our room was spotless, including the squeaky-clean bathroom, and the staff were friendly. There’s a full-size fridge and a cooktop too. 10/10, would recommend.

We found this place recently while road-tripping across the country with our dogs, from PA to CO and back. It was quiet, the rooms were clean, and they had all the basic essentials. Every staff member was so kind. We’re really grateful for the stay.
