Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Airport

We went in with low expectations and were surprised by how nice the people were. There were stains and some kind of splatter on the bed, though. Around 1, a family was running around, and in the morning a couple were fighting. Still, it was a good experience overall.

For the price, the room was good value for its size. It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the room, towels, and sheets were clean. The laundry setup was frustrating: you needed a special key from the front desk to get into the room, there was no light, and the washer was missing its dial. Noise carried around the building too. Breakfast was all high-sugar cereal, like Frosted Flakes, Fruit Loops, and Sugar Pops.

The staff are kind and helpful, and the place has the basics you need at an affordable price. The beds are nice, there’s hot water, and the roof is solid. I’d stay again.

This didn’t feel kid-friendly, with people staying there, including workers, chain-smoking with their doors open. We checked in and left right away because we had a party to get to. When we came back, no one answered when I tried to reach somebody. At checkout, the guy seemed fine with English until I complained, then acted like he couldn’t understand. I had photos, but he refused to look at them, and I can’t attach them here. The room was filthy: a hole in the comforter, stained sheets, what looked like puke on the bathroom wall and on the towel over the tub, and hair on the floor, sink, and tub. There were holes in the walls behind the bathroom and front door, and moldy stuff that looked like it had been in the fridge for over a week. I’m pretty sure there were bed bugs too, since I woke up with multiple bites. Stay far away.
