The location is rough if you don't have a car, since the hotel sits right on the south edge of town. The one-room suite was nice, with a comfortable couch and a fantastic walk-in shower. It's a decent, cheap option for one night. The pool, workout room, and laundry are permanently closed, though breakfast is the usual free morning spread.

The room had mold in the shower, a dirty bathroom floor, unvacuumed carpet, and trash. Its deadbolt didn't work either. I arrived at 10:30 PM, then waited about 20 minutes for someone at the desk; she said she'd been upstairs cleaning a room. She gave me the room number aloud instead of putting it on the keys, and said the security doors were left unlocked so “her guys” could come and go more easily. The elevator was out. Breakfast was barely there, just bread and some cereal, with a plugged-in waffle maker but no batter. Horrid place. Choice needs to drop it from the franchise.

The desk staff were kind and the price was appealing, but we found clothes and laundry detergent in our room, like someone lived there during the week. That was unsettling. My son found mold in the bed in his room and they left for another hotel. After dark, a big group of people who weren't staying there gathered outside, which made us feel less safe than we should have.

Moises really went out of his way to make our stay a good one. The rooms were very clean, the service was excellent, and breakfast was pretty good too. We'll definitely come back.

If you or someone with you has a disability, don't stay here. The elevators have been broken for weeks, according to the workers, and they said there hadn't been any ground-floor rooms available for weeks either. Even after I explained that we had a disabled adult with us, the men at the counter kept trying to sell us a room. They talked to each other behind the desk instead of having a conversation with us. This hotel should be investigated over ADA access to public spaces and shut down until the problem is fixed.
