Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Salisbury, MD

The room was disgusting and didn't seem fit for anyone to stay in. When I asked for a different one, the manager wanted to overcharge me, spoke disrespectfully, and told me to leave if I didn't like it. I left and canceled my 14 nights. I can't understand why a company would pay someone so unfit for a manager position. Maybe they're used to losing good business. If you want a pleasant stay, I strongly recommend finding a better option. Worst hotel I've ever been to.

The front desk staff were courteous, but I was truly disappointed with my choice. We arrived late, or I would have left then. There were fake nails on the floor, conditioner on the shower floor, a squeaky bed, and stains on the desk chair. The ceiling had water stains and dripped after our shower, so it's hard to know what had actually been cleaned. The pool was disgusting. The water was cloudy, and the hot tub was cloudy, milky, and foamy with a rancid smell. I'm shocked a hotel can operate a pool without following regulations. I booked just one night and couldn't wait to leave. I'll be in the area more often but will avoid this hotel.

The staff kept the place welcoming and clean, and we often saw them vacuuming the entrance and tidying shared areas. Everyone we spoke with was friendly, professional, and helpful. We had a clean room with a microwave and refrigerator, which came in handy, though we were a little disappointed the floors weren't carpeted. The hotel has an indoor pool, fitness center, and free breakfast. We found the busy location surprisingly peaceful, with a major highway nearby and Food Lion, Dollar Store, McDonald’s, and Starbucks close by. We booked four days while my husband attended a work conference.

The man at the front desk was very nice and check-in was easy. The room seemed clean until my sons' feet turned black from the dirty floors. Doors slammed loudly, and it seemed like everyone was put on the first floor. Maybe that's easier to clean, but it's a big hotel and guests should be spread around. The pool was cold and cloudy, and the bleach smell was overwhelming. We only swam for 10 minutes.
