Travelodge by Wyndham Salisbury MD

Filthy, old, and dirty, with poor customer service. It took two hours to get the TV working, and the water pressure was bad. There was a city citation on the door, no breakfast and no coffee, and loud permanent residents. It seemed like they didn't want a visit from ICE. I'd rather sleep in a tent. I was very worried about bed bugs. Do not stay here. Wyndam corporate should be ashamed.

We'd specifically requested late checkout and were told noon was fine. But at 11:02, housekeeping was pounding on the door and yelling at us in Spanish. At 11:19 I was still in the room, helping my disabled veteran partner hurry out. The service was horrible, and I can only hope they don't charge me extra. There's no WiFi, and the TV doesn't work either.

They charge $500 a week, which is way too much for a place like this. The breakfast they are supposed to include isn't offered, and housekeeping doesn't come every day as it's supposed to. There are people doing drugs in their cars while kids play outside without parents watching, and cars drive through as if they don't care about the children. The water only half works, the floors are nasty, and neither the ice machine nor the vending machine works. I stayed here back in 2023, when there was a sign on the door, and they still haven't fixed the place up. It's just as it was then, with nothing done except overcharging people to stay for a week. Overall, it's nasty. Please don't stay here.

The front desk people were nice, but this place needs a major revamp. There were nails by the check-in entrance, and part of the ceiling was coming down, so watch your step. We got put in the white-ish building at the back, which is the older, dirty one. The blue building seems better. Several doors were standing open, including ours, so security felt lacking. Inside, there were flies. We sprayed Lysol before rushing out, but they were still alive when we got back, and we only managed to kill one, haha. The TV didn’t work either. The shower curtain had pubic hair and orange mold on it, and the towels and sheets had the same kind of hair. We’ve already paid and can’t leave without messing up our plans, so we’re stuck for now. We’ll buy new towels tomorrow. Never staying here again.
