Stagecoach Inn

The Tesla chargers weren't working when I arrived, even though I had booked StageCoach months ahead for my niece's graduation in Challis specifically because of the charger. I was traveling from Coeur d Alene ID. After several failed attempts, I contacted Tesla and was told the site was owned. I spoke with one of the women who had checked me in. She wasn't sure what was wrong but was helpful. I tried charging again and got nowhere, then went back to talk to the woman taking over the night shift. At first she said it was Tesla's problem, not theirs. She argued with me into 5 a.m. and wouldn't provide resources or let me contact management or the owner. I left quickly for the graduation and didn't stay the second night because I was afraid of another confrontation. That employee didn't seem properly trained, showed little compassion, and muttered rude remarks instead of helping. I had my friends and family retrieve my suitcase from the front desk. The check-in itself had been extremely easy, and aside from that staff member, it might have been a decent stay. But the staff clearly need more training in problem solving and customer service, if they have any at all. I nearly called the police. I'll seek a full refund and file a personal complaint with the owners, asking that the employee be terminated. People shouldn't be treated cruelly, especially when they're paying to stay and far from home.
