Super 8 Salmon

I’d gladly stay here again if I’m in the area. It’s a reasonably priced, convenient place for a few nights in a beautiful town, with a comfortable bed, warm showers, and a spotless room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were easy. I didn’t use the fitness center or have breakfast, so I can’t comment on those.

The place is usually quiet and has always been clean when I’ve been there. I stay often, and the staff remember which room I like and try to put me in it. The woman at the check-in desk greets me with a smile and makes me feel welcome. Everyone has always been friendly and accommodating.

At about $150 a night, I expected a little better. The room was dirty, with stains all over the floor, couch, and walls, and it reeked of stake cigarette smoke. The window gave the road and the public a clear view into your private space. The toilet seat felt like it might fall off when I used it. Breakfast was the cheapest kind you can find, and they put out enough for maybe ten people even though the hotel holds at least 50. By the time I went to eat, there were only scraps left, if that. There’s no gym, hottub, or anything extra. If you have a trailer or 5th wheel, good luck finding a parking spot.

The biscuits and gravy were delicious, and not watered down. This Super 8 also had some of the friendliest staff and one of the best locations. It’s one of the cleanest hotels I have EVER stayed in. If I’m in the area again, I’ll be staying here. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.
