Jennifer was the sweetest, kindest person, all smiles and so welcoming. The cook deserves a mention too, just the best. The food was more than enough and so, so good, especially the bacon. Best everything. I’ve been here before and it was just as good then. In my experience, it’s by far the best place for the price and food quality. I’ll definitely be back. So happy to come here, and thank you for the best food.

The Thursday wing specials are great, and I never miss the Friday fish fry. It’s that good. I eat at the restaurant daily, and the food and service are consistently excellent. I’ve stayed at the Stanford Inn countless times since my business is in Salome. It’s become my home away from home. Owner Alexa is kind and dedicated, and you can feel how much heart she puts into the place as soon as you walk in. She really cares about her customers, and it shows in how she runs everything. If you’re in or near Salome, this is the place to stay and eat. I can’t recommend the Stanford Inn highly enough.

Layla was lovely and really nice. She slipped while bringing me water and spilled it all over me, which made me feel bad for her. She didn’t question me ordering six meatloafs. She needs a raise NOW. The bar could use nicer people, though. 🤗

The daytime cafe was fine, and the staff there were nice. The motel felt pretty rough, though, and the woman running it seemed furious that we wanted a room at the ‘late’ hour of 7pm. The bar closed at 9pm, and the staff seemed pissed off. The whole place had bad, unsettling vibes and felt unsafe.

This is a good spot if you’re passing through the area. The waitress was friendly, the cafe has lots of decor, and the food was pretty good too. It’s an honest business.
