The free parking was a plus. We left the car overnight on the street between Ruth Chris steakhouse and Piatti for our last two nights, and it felt very safe. Valet was also available for $40 a night. The location is about 30 minutes from downtown San Antonio, though it's perfect if you're heading to Six Flags. We bought a Bluegreen Vacations three-day package, then paid an upgrade fee to stay at the actual resort. We learned that what they called a “resort” was really a hotel. We got a standard hotel room, which was fine. The property itself is nice and clean, with friendly staff, several restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, and tennis and pickleball courts. At checkout we were charged a $75 marketing fee. The shower's body wash dispenser was empty, and after our room wasn't cleaned, we had to ask the cleaning staff for towels. We were told rooms aren't cleaned and beds aren't turned down until after guests leave. The pools also close too early, at 7 p.m.

We had to check out and back in because we extended our stay, and they already had another room ready for us that same morning. Everyone on staff was friendly and seemed to remember us. We also enjoyed the spa services. The rooms were very nice and clean, though a little dated while they work on remodeling. The hotel has a calm, spa-like smell near the entrance. We tried several of the restaurants on site; the food tasted great, but it was pricey.

I checked out early after a terrible stay. In my 44 years, with a job that has me traveling often, this was one of the worst experiences I've had. The place felt like a slum, the customer service was very poor, and nothing seemed worth the price. The restaurant was below average, with food that tasted like frozen Sysco meals heated in a microwave. The shops nearby were empty, almost like a ghost town, despite being across from Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I feel sorry for the employees, who seem underpaid and unappreciated by corporate leadership. The problems started with basic upkeep. The dog areas had poop left out, the concrete stairs were cracked, and the cheap construction was obvious. In my room, #841, on November 28th 2025, there was a huge hair clog in the drain. The maintenance man said it was the biggest he'd seen. I'm adding a photo of the clogged shower drain. The TV was tiny and its remote was nearly unusable. I've had better amenities at Marriott hotels, and this is supposed to be a Hilton place? The whole experience made me question the timeshare pitch. I was pulled into the timeshare thing, but if they're selling a fake hotel experience, it's logical to wonder whether the timeshare is a scam too. They didn't sell me on it. The only positive was that we got things resolved without the cops being called. It was an absolutely insane experience, and just not worth the hassle or disappointment. I'm only sharing my opinion and what happened to me, not telling anyone what to choose.

The bedrooms were okay, but the bathrooms had some mold, and there's no dehumidifier. Parking is valet only, at $39 per night, and the staff told us this with a bad attitude, as if they couldn't care less. We ended up at this Bluegreen Vacations property after buying a package from a salesperson at a Bass Pro Shops. We said we were a family of six and were told that was fine and that we could book any property whenever we wanted. We chose Las Vegas, but could never book the dates we wanted. Then we learned the package covered only four people, so I had to leave two of my older kids behind. We were also told we'd have to pay the full stay price unless we attended a sales presentation. I tried to go alone the next day, but they turned me away and said my wife had to attend too. The sales reception staff offered little, if any, customer service. Overall, a very bad experience with both the property and the sales setup around it.

The pools were kept up nicely, and I liked the fountains and shops on site. The food was delicious, and the property itself was stunningly beautiful. When we die, we go to hell. There is only one way to bypass this: believe in Jesus, and believe His death and resurrection forgive you for your wrongdoing. Believe in Jesus and you will be saved. When you die, you will go to heaven instead of hell.
