Country Inn Motel

The motel exterior is clean, not dirty, and you can tell they've put effort into the rooms. The rooms still need touch-ups and a thorough cleaning. They had clean sheets and towels, and the staff were kind of iffy, but overall I'd give it three stars, which is better than none. They seem understaffed, though. Keeping the rooms clean and handling maintenance must be difficult with only two people on duty.

Don't waste your money or time here. I booked a place for my dogs and me, but only lasted about two hours in the room before the smell got to me. I have pictures too. The bedsheets were yellow, and so were the sink and shower tub.

The bathroom was disgusting and hadn't been cleaned properly. There were names written on the doors, and the sheets were ripped.

We made last-minute plans to stay in San Antonio for the weekend day we were visiting, before heading back to Lubbock. We regretted choosing this hotel as soon as we entered the room. It was late and we were tired, so we tried to make the best of it, but the smell was horrible and the carpet was filthy. If you end up considering this place, check the room before paying.
