Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Brooks Hotel & Spa

The breakfast was great, especially the build-your-own sandwich with eggs. The scrambled eggs were properly dry instead of watery, and I could even make a chicken sandwich, which was new to me. Coffee was free all day, and the barista made great drinks. Staff were friendly throughout. Check-in was easy, and the receptionist was friendly and covered everything except a detail about the two complimentary drinks, which I believe came with my membership status. They only mentioned the drinks, not that mixed drinks weren’t included. I bought two mixed drinks expecting them to be free and got an unexpected charge. It wasn’t a huge deal, but keep that in mind if they offer you the drinks. I had a large U-Haul with an attached trailer, and there was plenty of parking; they had no issue with it. Pretty good Embassy Suites.

Morgan was kind and accommodating from the first phone call through check-in. My mom was in town to speak at her cousin’s funeral, and since check-in wasn’t until 4:00 PM, I called that morning to ask whether she could access the facilities to get ready. Morgan made sure my mom and niece were looked after as soon as they arrived, and surprised them with a thoughtful little goodie bag on an emotional day. Her genuine care and empathy made a real difference to my family. We’re so grateful, and Embassy Suites is lucky to have her.

The hotel is conveniently close to many restaurants. My room was clean, and housekeeping kept it that way throughout my stay. I also had a haircut at the salon, where the friendly staff gave excellent service. The front desk team was professional and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend this location.

The included breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, and the staff were incredibly nice. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, the hotel had lots of amenities, and it was close to plenty of things. Just two small annoyances: the shower curtain was too short for the tub, so water got on the floor, and the room wasn’t cool enough for me. I had to stop at WM for a fan. Minor issues, though.
