Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Antonio Seaworld

The room was clean and well kept, and our king bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a lot to choose from: oatmeal, cereal, boiled and scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bagels, toast, apples, oranges, yogurt, chocolate milk, coffee, orange and apple juice, plus waffles and toppings for both the waffles and oatmeal. Parking came to $9.75 per night after taxes and fees. They have security cameras. We paid $159 for two nights, along with a $40 damage deposit, which they said would be returned in 2 to 3 business days. Bring your phone charger head if you need one. If you forget it, you can charge by the TV or use the USB port on the alarm clock.

The only good thing I can say is that it’s close to SeaWorld. I wanted to leave a positive review, but the family stay was awful. The staff were very irresponsible, the food was mediocre, and the room was a mess, with dirty floors and messy towels. The beds were so uncomfortable my children were bothered all night. I’d strongly advise against booking here.

The room itself was okay, but the service was lacking. There were mobile police cameras, barricades and locked entrances to the parking lot, plus signs warning about theft and explaining proper behavior. The breakfast attendant nearly took food out of your mouth when it was time to clear it, but didn’t seem nearly as focused on putting food out or cleaning. The food was like cat food on a cracker, so eat somewhere else. I wouldn’t stay or recommend it, and the pool didn’t look like a good idea either.

I stayed five days and four nights. Housekeeping was supposed to come every other day, but the room was only cleaned before I checked in and after I left. Halfway through, someone offered me extra towels. I was out most of the day, so I was surprised nobody cleaned the room while I was staying there.
