Manny and the whole staff always make us feel welcome when we come here for a staycation. I especially appreciate the customer service: about an hour before checkout, Manny calls to ask whether we want to extend or leave at 11. We love coming back.

We only stayed because severe weather made leaving a bad option. The place smelled and looked like a motel from a horror movie, and the whole experience was awful. At check-in, I showed the desk clerk that I had prepaid through booking. Com, and he said he saw it, but the motel charged me again anyway. The manager refused to refund the duplicate payment or give me an email address or contact information for someone higher up in the franchise. There was also an undisclosed refundable $50 deposit. A booking.com representative told me it wasn't in the fine print. I'm trying to get booking.com to return the duplicate charge, and if that doesn't work, I'll have to contact my bank's fraud department.

We were going through a really hard time and stayed here for almost two weeks while trying to get back on our feet. The first room was very humid, but they moved us to another one. Everyone was kind, especially the manager. We never felt judged, just met with friendly smiles and hospitality. I’d come back.

We paid $180 for a Saturday night and found a dead cockroach by the bed and a dead cricket in the bathroom. The place was really dirty, everything looked old and nothing like the pictures. The worst. Never again.
