I came back recently after not staying here for a few months, and the difference really surprised me. The rooms are a good deal for the price, and housekeeping is much better now. Seems like management has changed too, and they’re running the place a lot better. I like how it is these days. This is my go-to spot in the area.

I ended up having to keep the room because they don’t offer refunds, but I wouldn’t choose this place again unless I was desperate and short on cash. The online rate looked cheap, then I was charged a $30 booking fee that wasn’t disclosed on the website and another $30 deposit. My first room wasn’t actually available because the previous guest hadn’t checked out, and the key wouldn’t work. The next room had water all over the floor. A third option smelled like gas as soon as I walked in. In the room I finally took, the floor was dirty, so we swept it ourselves and sprayed Lysol around. The TV remote didn’t work, the stove wouldn’t turn on, and I wasn’t willing to risk using it. The room needs a proper cleaning, and after all that I was left wondering about bedbugs too.

I left without renting a room, and I won’t book here without seeing the place first. The property looked dirty, with bars on the doors and windows, and people hanging around who made me uneasy. The manager was incredibly rude. A manager should act professionally, but he seemed interested only in making money and didn’t care about customer satisfaction. I’d give zero stars if I could.

I only planned to stay briefly, but I liked the place enough that I’m now here for a few months. It’s clean, feels safe, and looks really nice. It’s been better than I expected from the beginning. I’d definitely recommend it.
