John at the front desk was calm, professional, and very helpful. The bathroom was clean enough, though it could use a few minor repairs. I didn't get to see what breakfast was like. The non-smoking room actually smelled smoke-free, which was great for this neighborhood. The area isn't the best, but that's not the motel's fault. It's fine for what it is, as long as you don't expect a five-star resort. I'd stay again.

The room was clean, the price was good, the area felt safe, and the staff were okay. I'd sleep here again, but the way checkout went left a sour note. The housekeeping women stood waiting for us, which felt like they were trying to rush us out. I'd already told the front desk that we might be a few minutes late because no accessible room had been available, and they said that would be fine. We had to carry things up to the second floor for a person with a disability, and there was no elevator. They should let people know when no accessible rooms are available. The housekeepers' attitude felt slightly rude.

The room felt dingy, with dirty carpet, a filthy-looking sofa chair, and a bathroom door rotting at the bottom. The window AC setup was the worst part. Air blew underneath the curtains instead of into the room, so I had to leave them fully open to stay comfortable. That meant choosing between privacy and a good temperature. I skipped breakfast. It's decent if the rate is low, but I'd go elsewhere at a higher price.

We had two rooms for eight people, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and quiet they were. The beds were comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. We could hardly hear the boys in the room next door. Two of our kids have Down syndrome, so we're especially careful about where we stay and how our family is welcomed. All in all, it was a good stay.
