San Carlos Inn

It's only 10 rooms behind a gas station, a no-frills motel for sleeping and showering. The person at the front was friendly, but parking is limited, the rooms are small, and they hand out the shampoo up front. It wasn't bad, though I wouldn't call it great. I wouldn't choose it first if I went back down there, but I wouldn't mind if it were my only option.

Cozy, acceptable rooms in an old-school place. It's not luxurious and the service isn't great, but it's fine if you just need a cheap place to sleep. They still use physical keys, and the decor looks like it hasn't changed since the '70s.

I arrived at 1 in the morning with my spouse and 5-month-old, hoping to get some uninterrupted sleep. By 7 am, the front desk was hounding me to find out if I was staying over. Then, after they said they'd rented to someone else, they kept pushing us to leave before checkout time. The people were incredibly rude, with no hospitality at all. The room was disgusting too. Tiny critters were crawling around, and the toilet overflowed badly. It kept coming out like a scene from one of the Poltergeist films. This was the most terrible experience ever. The place and the people running it are utterly disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs. It doesn't even deserve the one star I have to give it.

This place is the worst. Our room was filthy. I don't recommend it. Save your money 💰.
