I only stay here because of my company's travel rules. It's bare minimum, nothing fancy. Just now I went downstairs to get change for the laundry room, and the desk had none. They casually told me to walk to the Jack in the Box beside the property or the AM/PM about 200 meters away. If a hotel can't support even the basic services it advertises, maybe it shouldn't be in business. I'll definitely raise this with our company travel support and try to get the hotel removed from our recommended list.

I travel for work and stay in plenty of ordinary hotels, mostly Hiltons and Marriotts, with the occasional Best Western or Wyndham. They generally offer similar service, but even Hilton can disappoint. This property felt dingy and more worn than usual. On the third floor, where I stayed, there were at least a couple of obvious carpet stains and an unpleasant hallway odor. My room looked like it was from the 70s. The TV had no YouTube, Netflix, or really any apps. There was no shower gel or body wash, just small complimentary soap discs instead of a bar. The blackout curtains had so many holes that sunrise made it feel like a planetarium. The street along the parking lot had several RVs parked there, which made me think homeless people might be living nearby. It didn't give a good vibe. At least I didn't see any insects, which was good.

The room was clean, but there was a problem with how many rooms our group had when we checked in. Breakfast was gross. It felt like it'd sat under a heat lamp all day: the pancake edges were hard enough to use as Olympic discus, and the potatoes were dry. The orange juice was good, so that's all I had for the next two days.

I hadn't booked a hotel instead of an Air BnB in more than five years. I was going to my cousin's wedding but had to cancel because of a personal emergency. I gave the hotel more than 24 hours' notice, yet they refused to refund my three-day stay, $450 total. Travelers beware: they keep your money and can give the room to someone else, making twice the profit. This is how customers end up choosing other booking services. Do better. And to the obviously autogenerated reply: I didn't stay with y'all. I never checked in, and I gave over 24 hours' notice about a personal emergency. I understand a cancellation fee, but refusing to refund any part of the stay is heinous. Use a real person to reply or don't reply at all. The response is insulting and doesn't make it seem like you care.
