La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club

We went for a good friend's wedding, and the place was amazing. The bar beside the beach was beautiful and just as nice as the venue. Everything felt first class, and both the venue and staff were fantastic. I can't recommend it enough for a visit or a stay of a few days or even a week, if you can afford it.

The La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club has a relaxed, welcoming feel with classic La Jolla luxury. Its private beach is beautiful and calm, great for families, and the ocean views are unbeatable. The grounds are immaculate, the restaurant is fantastic, and the service is always top-notch. The staff go out of their way to make every visit special, whether you're staying overnight or just there for the day.

A truly relaxing getaway. With beachfront access, excellent service, and beautifully maintained grounds, there's no reason to leave the compound. If you have a few days to spend in LaJolla, this is the place for you.

I waited for law enforcement as security instructed, and was told they were on their way, but they still haven't arrived. Meanwhile, beachgoers on the shore parallel to me aren't being bothered. I can't help noticing the discrimination as I wait. I wasn't near your umbrellas, which were much farther back. Stop harassing locals and follow the rules we all follow. Security and a staff member both told me I didn't need their names, and I don't. Management needs to remember they don't own the beach. Threatening to remove people for being on "private property" while beachgoers literally have their feet in the water is illegal. As the tides change, you can't move tables and decide the shore is yours, claiming more beach space. It's inappropriate and disrespectful to the community. This overreach likely violates local codes, and I'll contact city authorities for guidance. Seeing a family with children asked to leave is unpleasant for others and not what a reputable establishment should aim for. You do not own the shore. Please educate your staff on proper protocol.
