Avoid Little Italy Modern Lofts if you don’t want a huge disappointment on your San Diego trip. There was hair on the sheets, the bathroom was disgusting, the screen doors were ripped, drywall was coming loose, and pictures fell off the wall when we went up the stairs. I politely asked management to address it, but they said they’d fix things when they had time. They made no effort to address the misleading impression the website gives. Update: The TV didn’t work either. They never came to fix the hair in the bed, and never made any effort to contact us. Do not stay here.

10/10
The beds were on the hard side, probably my only complaint. Otherwise, this place was much nicer than the reviews made it sound, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. The unit was clean, and having a laundry machine was a lifesaver. There’s secure parking nearby, and it’s an excellent location, no more than 10 minutes from all the tourist spots. I was nervous because of the other reviews, but we had a great experience.
