Motel San Diego - In San Diego (Pacific Beach)

The price is exceptionally good, and the location is convenient. Since the motel sits below the road, there wasn’t much traffic noise. The Roku TVs were a nice touch, and I’m sure I’ll return. My check-in and checkout were the fastest I’ve ever had, which surprised me since I’d never used super.com for a reservation. The building dates to the 1920s, so the bathroom is small and there are places that show their age. Still, service was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable with fluffy pillows.

The owners are wonderful, down-to-earth people who made me feel welcome and never like a burden, even during a four-month stay while I looked for an apartment. My room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and really nice. I’d tried a few other cheap hotels around San Diego before finding this place, and none came close to this quality for the price. I was grateful to find such a welcoming family environment.

I stayed three nights. The room was comfortable and the TV worked great. The woman at the front desk was so nice. I recommend this place.

The bathroom was my only complaint, it’s really small, but oh well. I stayed five nights and the place was quiet, with very friendly staff. I picked it for the location and price. The rooms are old, and seem to date back to 1920, but they did what I needed. I had no quality issues and would stay again.
