I left feeling more relaxed, motivated, and full of life. The house was well equipped and made me feel at home, and it was very close to the beach. Madison, the community manager, was a pleasure to talk to. She organised really cool events that helped me build stronger connections with the other Outsite people. Thank you!

Parking could be tricky late at night, and I sometimes might have needed to leave the car a couple of blocks away instead of beside the house. My bedroom also had fewer outlets than I'd have liked, and they were awkwardly placed. Those were minor downsides compared with the benefits, and I'd definitely stay again. I spent three nights in room 002, which has an ensuite bathroom. The location is excellent, near downtown San Diego, walking distance to Balboa park, and a short drive from several great neighborhoods. The house is spacious and modern, with state-of-the-art appliances and plenty of shared space. My room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable, and the ensuite had good water pressure and temperature control. The wifi handled all my work and calls. I could faintly hear people in other rooms, but it wasn't distracting, about what you'd expect in shared housing.

The community manager was very kind and helpful, and the washer and dryer came in handy. There is a good idea behind this place, but it needs improvement. I'd stayed here before and had a very different, more positive experience. This visit was decent overall, 3/5 stars. We were in room #4, right by the building entrance. I didn't feel comfortable opening the windows because they face the entrance balcony and main street, and we had to keep the blinds closed for privacy. Customer service had no other rooms to offer. They should put room details online so guests can choose. The entrance location was loud on the first night, and I woke up three times as people came in late or left. The rooms aren't very soundproof either, so you can hear a neighbor having a meeting. I asked to switch to the North Park location, but was told I couldn't. The bathroom had no counter for toothbrushes or toiletries, the three shower caddy items weren't labeled, and the toilet seat was loose or broken. The neighborhood wifi went down Monday when my partner and I had meetings, and there was no backup; hotspotting was limited too. It also looked like someone had taken our protein bars from the fridge. Parking is all on the street. We arrived at midnight the first night and spent 15 minutes finding a spot.

A little gem in a peaceful neighborhood. The rooms are spacious and the furnishings are good quality, and the shared spaces are a real bonus. Maddison, the manager, is friendly and quick to respond.
