The rooms were beat up and broken, and the internet wouldn’t connect. The A/C didn’t work, and it was really loud. You could hear everything, and the hotel is on a major street. Customer service was the worst part. They were unprofessional, treated us like a burden, and scolded us instead of helping. It felt like management didn’t take the situation seriously. There are plenty of other places around that seem to want your business. This wasn’t worth $200, and I’d skip it for another hotel.

The location made getting around easy. Waterfront restaurants are close, there’s a walking path nearby, and the airport is about 10 minutes away with an easy drive. It also feels peaceful, away from the city. Parking was plentiful and never full during my Thursday-to-Sunday stay. My twin room was very clean and nicely presented. The fridge was a good size, there were plenty of towels, and the lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap were handy if you hadn’t brought your own. The bedding was excellent, and blackout curtains, low lighting, and a quiet heater were nice touches for a restful stay. The lobby had a cute Christmas tree and blue and white colors that suited the marina nearby. This was my first time at Sea Harbor Hotel, and I was blown away by the property and the service. I’d definitely recommend it and come back when I’m in town. Cheers, and all the best to Sea Harbor!

The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and with the harbour right beside the hotel, you can go for a walk any time of day or night. It’s basically a place to stay for a night, though at this price I think they could do better by including breakfast.

The customer service is great, the TV selection is good, and I’ve never slept on more comfortable beds. I used to be a travel agent and know places like Four Seasons, JW Marriotts, and Ritz Carltons, so that’s saying something. This is right by a spot focused on fishermen, and the hotel could probably fill its rooms all year without trying. But it still makes an effort to be better. If you want a hidden gem of a motel with five-star aspirations, this is the place. I love it and will be back.

It’s an older hotel, but the price and location make it a terrific find. The harbour is half a block away, with lots of restaurants within walking distance, and we never felt unsafe. There’s a small pool, free parking and Wi-Fi, plus a refrigerator in the room. As a tourist, you’re not spending that much time in the room anyway. I’ll gladly book here again on my next San Diego visit.
