We stayed four days and I hate to leave. The service was great, the place was very clean, and the staff were so friendly. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts Tina prepared. She’s the greatest. Koodoes to the management and staff💕 We’ll definitely book again next time we’re in San Diego.

The reviews brought me here, and I’m really glad they did. Skip at the desk helped me during my stay. The room and area were perfect, breakfast was amazing, and the hotel felt peaceful, clean, and safe. I feel lucky I got to stay here. Definitely try it.

We had a very nice double bedroom suite in a quiet spot, close to lots of sights without being too busy. Parking was mostly on the other side of the building from our room, so we loaded and unloaded at the back door. Check-in took a while, but mostly because the guest ahead of me needed time, not because of the attendant. We didn’t need much from the service team, and have no complaints.

My condo flooded in San Diego, so I stayed at Sonesta’s hotel for a month and a half. Everyone on staff was friendly and gave great service. Michele Meimban helped me check in early because I had a lot of cold food that needed to go in the fridge before it spoiled. Tina from the kitchen was really nice and helpful, and Alma in sales found me a great deal to extend my stay. The maintenance guy also fixed my closet door. The hotel felt safe and had great staff, so I highly recommend it. :)

The location of Sonesta ES Suites San Diego - Sorrento Mesa is excellent, and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. I’d stay here again when I’m back in San Diego. Have a GREAT 2026 year to Mike and his staff! I recently spent seven nights here and want to recognize Hotel Manager Mike Jones. We had some significant maintenance problems in the room, which made things stressful at first. Once Mike got involved, he took responsibility, listened with empathy, and followed through on the details. His professional, outstanding service and effort to put things right turned a difficult stay into a positive experience. Thank you, Mike, for your kindness and for taking such good care of us.
