Kasa’s customer service really stood out. We had low water pressure the first night and the dryer was making a loud noise, but they responded right away and fixed both quickly. They were just as helpful when I had other questions about the apartment and grounds. You can tell they want guests to have a good stay, and it made a big difference. The apartment was cute, very clean, and comfortable, and I felt safe inside and around the grounds. It’s well placed for the Zoo, Balboa Park, Little Italy, the Harbor, shopping, and lots of great restaurants nearby. Having so many places for coffee, breakfast, or dinner pickup saved us time. Before visiting, do some research on homelessness in downtown San Diego. Depending on what you’ll be doing downtown, you might decide against staying in the city center. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend it.

I spent two weeks here while working from home, and the place really felt like my own apartment. It was clean, the room was nice, check-in and checkout were easy, and it came stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. I’ll look at Kasa again for future trips. The location was handy and walkable, though nearby areas had homelessness. As a young woman staying alone, I had to be careful. I’m from NYC, though, and it didn’t compare to what I’m used to there.

This is one of my favorite Kasa properties after staying at a few of them. The unit had lots of space, and the building had everything I needed for a week. Whenever I had a question, their customer service team got back to me quickly. I’ll stay here again when I’m next in San Diego.

I booked Kasa at the last minute for a work trip and really didn’t expect it to be this good. I’d searched for hotels in DT San Diego and picked it because the photos looked better than other places, it had secure parking, and it was a couple blocks from my work in the gaslamp district. The place was stunning, basically a one-bedroom suite, with a full kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, and a walk-in closet. It was legit. I only wish I’d taken photos.

Our apartment was spacious and very clean, with a king bedroom and a pullout sofa we didn’t use. There was a full kitchen, living room, small dining table, large bathroom, walk-in closet, linen closet, and washer and dryer. Contactless check-in and checkout were easy. The building is secure, with codes needed for entry from the street, the elevators, and the parking garage. It has a pool, gym, outdoor BBQ area, rooftop space, and other amenities available during your stay. The neighborhood felt safe and clean. The street could get noisy at night from traffic and emergency vehicles, but Kasa provides earplugs. It’s centrally located, walkable to Gaslamp, and a short drive from Little Italy, the Convention Center, Petco Park, and Old Town. It suits a couple or four people, and would also be comfortable for work or a longer stay. I’d recommend it and stay here again when I return to San Diego.
