I was on a business trip and found the clean, well-equipped room comfortable. The staff were excellent, both in their manner and service, and I felt secure there. Having a microwave was handy for heating up a lunch box I’d bought nearby. I’d definitely stay again on a future trip to San Francisco.

Everything in the room runs through an iPad, including the TV, lights, curtains, and shades. Check-in was quick, and the price felt reasonable for the location. The room was nice but very small, fine for a solo traveler, though a couple could feel cramped.

Lorenzo, who I think is the lead manager, was really helpful and friendly when the tablet check-in wouldn’t work. He helped me find food on site and suggested nearby places to eat. The rest of the staff were great too, and housekeeping was working hard to keep the rooms clean. I chose the hotel for a SanFran vacation because of the location and price. The room was smaller than I expected from the website pictures, but I got used to it. It was comfortable enough for one person. Two people would need to really like each other. Once I figured out the shower controls, the water pressure and temperature were great, and the iPad controls were fairly easy after I spent a little time adjusting things. There were a decent number of guests while I was there, and as a new property and brand for Marriott, I think it gives Moxy a run for its money.

The room was clean, and the smart system for the room was on another level. Staff were super friendly, and the location was great. I’ve stayed at a number of hotels in SF, and this was one of the best. The room size is something to keep in mind, though that’s part of what keeps it budget friendly. There were two of us and it worked out well. I’d consider staying here on our next visit.
