Harbor Court Hotel

The staff were amazing, and the place felt cozy and welcoming while still having an upscale atmosphere. It blends the feel of a historic building with an urban setting. Right on the Embarcadero and close to the Ferry Building and transit lines, it made for a great San Francisco getaway. Had a lovely time this weekend and would highly recommend it.

I was in town for work, so I didn’t make it to the little happy hour, but I did enjoy the Saturday farmer’s market. The hotel also gives guests access to the YMCA and has bikes for rides around the city. Staff were super kind and accommodating. The location was fantastic for getting to other parts of town, and I loved waking early to watch the sunrise over the harbor. Breakfast and coffee were a nice touch.

Guest service was really nice, and that’s why I’m giving this three stars instead of one or two. The stay itself was pricey. Parking cost over $80, and nobody told us about it or offered another option. The rooms were very small, with the doors hitting each other and sitting just inches from the bed. I couldn’t find a good movie, and breakfast was more like a snack bar than a real breakfast.

The staff made our wedding weekend feel special for us and our guests. They handed out our welcome bags at the desk, surprised us with thoughtful touches on our wedding night, and were warm, kind, and genuinely helpful throughout. Our dog Bowie was treated like a VIP, with a welcome package and daily greetings. He quickly became a hit with the team. Planning with the hotel was seamless even before we arrived, and they accommodated room requests for guests with special needs. We’d enjoyed staying here before, but after this extended stay at Harbor Court Hotel, we’re lifelong customers. The location was perfect, the service outstanding, and the memories they helped create will stay with us. Cannot recommend it enough.
