The neighborhood is great, with a strong family and community feel, mostly Asian, plenty of good restaurants, supermarkets, and gas stations, and even a great view of the mountains. The motel was cheap, clean, friendly, and everything worked. The only imperfections I can think of were a few holes in the curtain, which the woman said they’re replacing, and coffee in the lobby instead of the room. The employees were all from China or Singapore.

The room was exceptionally clean, with a cute mini fridge and a little table to eat at. The shower was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets. Both front desk clerks were really sweet. I’d definitely come back.

The room was roomy and very clean, with dated but adequate decor. There was no microwave or enough coffee supplies in the room. There’s a big gap in the floor seal under the front door, so bugs could get in. Worst of all, the ice maker was broken in 100-degree weather, and there was no indication of when it would be fixed.

The rooms are clean and large, and there are no bugs. The decor is a bit dated, but the furniture is nice and intact. The mattresses have plastic barriers, which I guess is both a pro and a con. The fridge, TV, and shower pressure all worked fine, and the staff are friendly. For the area, this is the best-priced hotel. Breakfast is very basic, but Chano's next door is superb, and The Hat is close by.

The room was okay, not nearly as bad as most motels around here, though it wasn’t what I expected. I booked because the reservation pictures showed a big, nice marble bathtub, but I got a regular porcelain tub instead. The room could use more renovation, and the blankets and pillows could definitely be nicer. Still, it wasn’t as bad as most motels in the area.
