The location was nice, but we won't stay here again. The Jacuzzi bathtub was the only upside. Our room didn't look like the pictures and could have been cleaned better, with dirt and crumbs on the couch and floor. I stayed one night with my family and wasn't impressed. The hotel felt uninviting as soon as we walked in, and nobody greeted us. Breakfast was bad too, just waffles and a bunch of sugary packaged junk.

The owner checked us in and was friendly. Behind the counter there's a wedding photo of her parents, which I thought was so sweet. Her father built the place. They provide continental breakfast and a good range of drinks, especially welcome in the heat. I was looking for a room with an indoor hot tub and was pleasantly surprised by the building's craftsmanship and carefully chosen decor. The hall, with its live plants and waterfall, feels like an atrium and was welcoming and unusual. It's a really lovely hotel, and I'd definitely book again.

Inside, the lobby and rooms are beautiful, a complete change from the outside. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. We also liked the fireplace and the large in-room jacuzzi tub and shower combo, which could fit two people. I'd definitely recommend the place. Don't let the exterior fool you!

The shower was great, and the gas fire worked well on a cool evening. There was plenty of room and free bottled water. Some areas look a bit faded, but for the price it was excellent value.
