The breakfast was the standout for me. It was made fresh on the spot with good ingredients, nothing like the usual sad hotel buffet. Rowena prepared it quickly and attentively, and she's genuinely good at what she does. My room was tidy, clean, and well kept, with no strange smells or details out of place. The basics were handled properly, which isn't always a given. A reliable hotel with rooms in good shape and breakfast that really stands out.

The location made it easy to get around Oakland and San Leandro, and the property felt safe and orderly. My room at Hilton Garden Inn Oakland/San Leandro was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The hotel was quiet and relaxing too. Staff were courteous, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. There were a few minor inconveniences, but they didn't take much away from the comfort or quality. I'd come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, comfortable place to stay.

The rooms were clean and just the right size, and it was nice and quiet. I wasn't happy to pay extra for breakfast. At the other places I've stayed for business, hot breakfast was included, so this could affect whether I stay here in the future.

Melissa was so sweet and accommodating when I arrived with my family. She patiently checked us in to three different rooms, then remembered the event we went to and asked about it when we came down the next morning. The location is great, and the rooms are spacious and clean. We had a very pleasant stay. I'd highly recommend it!

The lobby was spacious, the location was good, and the staff were good. The room, though, smelled strongly of some chemical that gave me an inflammation headache in about 30 seconds. I'm severely allergic to artificial scents, so I couldn't stay in the room I'd paid for and had to sleep in my car. The lobby didn't have that smell, so I thought I'd be fine. I also found that windows on the upper floors don't open at all.
