That stream right beside the inn was lovely to sit by and clear my head. My girlfriend and I came for a weekend while checking out some local realty, and even with all the stress, the cozy rooms and sounds of nature made the stay feel comforting. The setting is profoundly beautiful, and the place is a charming little inn that feels affordable. Sophia was a warm, welcoming host, and her breakfasts were a real treat. We’ll definitely be back.

I’m so glad I came. I’d been unsure about staying after seeing the photos on fb, so I wanted to share this for future guests. The house is huge but very, very clean, and the lights and heat were on when we arrived. Every room has a full bathroom and closet, with a hairdryer, face towel, clean blankets, and hangers provided. The big kitchen has plates, silverware, glasses, a microwave, toaster, two fridges, a large oven, and tools for cooking whatever you like. Outside, a small River sets a romantic mood, and there’s a jacuzzi available from 8 am to 10 pm. There’s lots of room for kids to play while parents relax with friends, without worrying too much since the place feels very safe. It was a beautiful surprise.

Breakfast was delicious, with a varied continental spread and/or baked eggs. From the inn, it’s a short drive along scenic byway 7A to restaurants or shopping in Manchester. It sits on a back road in the bucolic Vermont mountains, with a stream running beside the absolutely beautiful hotel. The back patio has amazing mountain views, a great spot to relax with a drink.

I tried their infrared sauna, then took a quick dip in the freezing river. Felt incredible! Such a relaxing retreat for a tired Mom, and I slept and relaxed 100%. And oh my worrrrrrd, the food 🤤
