Wolf Inn Hotel

We booked a weekend room through Booking.com so my family and I could go to Kalahari, but we left after one night instead of staying the two full days. We arrived Friday at midnight and left Saturday sometime between 12 and 1. I wouldn't come back, and it wasn't worth what I paid. Room 246 at Wolf Inn Sandusky Ohio was completely dirty: the floors were sticky and hadn't been mopped, the furniture was old, outdated, and partly breaking, and the comforter and sheets had multiple stains. The beds were uncomfortable, with only two pillows per bed, and you could barely hear the TV. The bathroom was dirty too. The hotel needs a full remodel and cleaning staff who know what they're doing. The online pictures don't show how much worse it is. There were people downstairs having loud sex all night while we were upstairs, and the hotel room smelled terrible. It felt like the only people staying there were buying drugs or having god-awful hotel sex. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The bed was broken, the lamps didn't work, there was no shower curtain, and the sink had no drain. Floors were bare concrete, the furniture looked picked up off the curb, the door was duct taped shut, and the walls had strange stains. We checked in, saw the room, and checked right back out. Now they're ignoring us about the refund. This felt like a sketchy motel posing as a hotel, and the false advertising was something else. Even a tent in the parking lot would have been an upgrade.

They charged me $245 for the three rooms I reserved for my family. After we had checked in for just 23 minutes, they refused to refund the money. There was dried blood on the sheets and poop on the toilet edge. The worst experience ever. Too bad there aren't negative stars. I notified the BBB!

DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked several rooms, and the whole place smelled of cigarettes and animal pee. One room showed evidence that drugs had been used multiple times. It seemed like nothing had been cleaned except maybe the bedding and toilets. There were crumbs all over the floors along with used plastic ware. Some TVs and lights didn't work, and the locks on the connecting rooms were broken. There were lots of regulars hanging around the hotel at all hours.
