Breakfast changed each day and was fresh, tasty, and generous. We felt very looked after, maybe even spoiled. The room was lovely too, with clean, fresh-smelling bedding and a comforter that was cozy without being heavy. For our two-week New England trip, it was the best place we stayed. I was concerned about the stairs because of my knees, but had no trouble at all. I'd recommend any room at the inn. Cape Cod was a first for us, even though we've traveled a lot, and staying in Sandwich at the Isaiah Jones Homestead was a perfect way to get to know the area. The Homestead was classy and upscale while still feeling cozy and homey. We enjoyed meeting the owners, Bob and AnaLisa. They have a great story, and AnaLisa has a wonderful smile and an engaging personality. We'd absolutely stay again, and hope we can.

Katherine's scones, crepes, omelets, and muffins are so good that just thinking about them makes me hungry. And you have to start the day with a Donnie special! We stayed in the cottage, where the room was spacious and comfortable. Everything around the B&B is pretty and relaxing. Another lovely stay, and we're already planning the next one.

The Thornton Burgess suite was roomy and comfortable, with a TV, Wi-Fi, a closet, and a pull-out couch. The bed had quality sheets and was very comfortable, and the water pressure was good. Central air conditioning worked well. The shared landing in the carriage house has a coffee bar, mini fridge, wineglasses, and bottle openers. This is a charming B&B with new owners making upgrades, including keyless self check-in. Some details could use attention, like the grout and patched floor. It was very quiet, and from the carriage house porch we saw butterflies, birds, squirrels, and a rabbit. Gift shops and restaurants are an easy walk away.

Katherine runs the Isaiah Jones Homestead B&B with real care. Her breakfasts are delicious, the attention to detail is outstanding, and she and her staff welcome you like an old friend from your first visit. I also enjoyed meeting Katherine’s New Hampshire cousin, Susan, with her great sense of humor, and Holly, whose friendly smile and convivial nature made her a pleasure to talk with. If you're missing your pets, sweet Bella may be right by your side on request, ready with all the affection you could want. This quaint Victorian B&B has comfortable beds, well-appointed rooms, and inviting shared spaces, including a living room and study where you can talk over sherry or port. Tea and coffee are available around the clock, and the room somehow gets serviced while you're enjoying the delectable three-course breakfast. A vacation stay with value, cleanliness, ambiance, quality, professionalism, friendliness, a splendid breakfast, great service, and thoughtful details sounds like fantasy, but that's what I found here in Sandwich on Cape Cod. Susan, Lucille, and Judy, August 2021. Pack your bag and go, you deserve it!

The room was cozy and felt like a nice place to come back to after a day out on the Cape. Breakfast and coffee were tasty, fresh towels and room cleaning came daily, and we had cable TV and a ceiling fan. We enjoyed our stay. The shower was very small, and the provided soaps had a strong cologne smell. There wasn't a refillable water station. They did provide one 16 oz bottle per person each day, but I usually drink four times that much myself, so a water machine would have been handy. It’s an old house and was mildly buggy, with daddy longlegs and ants, though that didn't really bother us because we knew it was historic.
